A quick CNC-Project for a last minute personal Christmas request. It's 2020 and the kitchen-table being your desk is not the most ergonomic setup. To lift the monitor up and create space to store the keyboard, mouse and laptop I designed a simple Monitor Stand with Shapr3D. Being able to send the design to the client over Messages with quick & easy AR previews is amazing!

The next step – to select which kind of wood should be used – was because of COVID-Lockdown more difficult than necessary, in the end we chose 18mm Bambus.

Production with Shaper Origin went smooth as always, although with some learnings about tape strategy. In total it took about 2 working days from idea through design to the final piece.
