 connectors allowed for a much simpler design, and reduced wasted wood to basically zero. 

Combining the PhoneStand-Concept, this time "TheC" with simple slots for your charging cable, allows for a flexible positioning of your phone. Just as standby or for video-conferences.

For reducing waste material the PhoneStand is carved out of the Monitorstand, which can optionally be used for some monitor cable management.
